Good afternoon, Compass Church!
Many of you are wondering how you might support in peaceful protest against racial injustice and promote racial reconciliation. The Elders would like to extend an invitation to join in this event that our sister SEND Network / SBC church – Crossover Church – is participating in – in Warren County.
The PRAYTEST will be held Sunday, June 9 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
Please join us – but be encouraged, if you cannot come or do not wish to attend for Covid-19 or other reasons we certainly understand. ?
Here are some recommendations for this day…
1. Please wear your Compass Church gear if you have it.
2. If you do not have Compass gear, please do not wear anything other than plain clothing. (No political or objectionable attire would be welcome as a matter of witness and as to not detract from the spirit of this event).
3. Please wear a Covid-19 type mask out of respect for the others gathering.
4. Please bring water/snacks as you might need refreshment.
5. Please, please go to SUPPORT and LISTEN and LOVE. Let’s go humbly and seek to get to know our sister church members and everyone present.
6. If you would like to carpool, that would be great. But we will have to leave at 12 PM to insure we can make it in a timely fashion, find parking, and assemble together. We will meet in the SIDE PARKING/CAR POOL LOT OF THE MEIJER in Mason and leave at 12:00 NOON.
